Haulier Access App: Let Partners Add Their Own Data
Our haulier access app lets subcontract drivers, producers and brokers enter their own load details by scanning a QR code or opening a secure link, with no account needed. The data is checked at source, so it reaches your gatehouse and your Defra records complete and correct.
How Our Haulier Access App Works
Not everyone who brings waste to your site, or arranges it, works for you. Subcontract hauliers, producers and brokers all hold information you need for your records, but giving every one of them a login isn't practical.
Our haulier access app solves this. You give partners a QR code or a secure link. They open it on their phone, enter their own details for the load, and the information arrives in your system checked and ready to use. No accounts, no app downloads, no phone calls to chase missing details.
QR Codes at the Gate
Put a QR code at your gate, on your booking confirmations or on your waste transfer notes. A driver scans it with their phone camera and fills in a short form:
Carrier name and registration number
Vehicle registration
Where the waste came from
What the waste is
with EWC codes picked from a searchable list
By the time the lorry reaches the weighbridge, your gatehouse staff already have the details on screen and just need to check and weigh.
Secure Links for Producers and Brokers
For producers and brokers who arrange movements in advance, send a secure link by email or text. They can confirm waste descriptions, codes and quantities before collection, so your driver arrives with everything already in place. Each link is unique, limited to the information that partner needs, and expires when the job is done.
Checks Before Data Reaches You
Data entered by third parties isn't simply trusted. Before it reaches your records, the app checks:
EWC codes are valid
and in the right format
Required fields are complete
including hazardous details where needed
Carrier registration numbers
are in the correct format
Duplicates
aren't being created
Anything that doesn't pass is flagged for your staff to review, so problems are caught at the gate rather than when Defra rejects a record.
