The Waste Collection App Your Drivers Will Actually Use
Our waste collection app is built for drivers in a cab, not office workers at a desk. It shows the next stop, opening times and site notes, hands off to Google or Apple Maps, alerts the driver on arrival, and captures weights, photos, signatures and digital waste transfer notes in a few taps.
A Waste Collection App Designed for the Cab
Our waste collection app is built for drivers in a moving vehicle, not office staff at a desk. Large touch targets mean it's usable with gloves on or at a glance, and the layout focuses on one thing at a time: the next stop, what's expected there, and what to record before moving on.
It runs as a progressive web app, so drivers get a fast, app-like experience on their own phone or a company device, without needing to download anything from an app store or manage updates manually.
Next Stop, Directions and Site Notes
The next-stop dashboard shows the driver exactly where to go, what's expected and any site-specific notes, such as access codes or opening times, without digging through paperwork or texts.
One tap hands off navigation to Google Maps or Apple Maps, whichever the driver already uses, so there's no new mapping interface to learn.
Arrival Alerts by GPS
Proximity detection, at around 150 metres from a site, triggers a haptic alert so the driver knows the job is close without having to check the screen constantly. That small nudge keeps drivers focused on the road while still being ready to collect weights and documents the moment they arrive.
Record Weights, Litres, Containers and Photos
At each stop, drivers record weights, litres or container counts depending on the job, plus photo capture for proof of condition or load content. This data feeds straight into your records, so office staff aren't chasing drivers for numbers at the end of the day.
Because the same app can connect to Defra's Receipt of Waste API, the detail captured at the kerbside is what ultimately supports your digital waste tracking reporting, not a separate re-entered figure.
Signatures and Digital WTNs on the Spot
Customers sign on the driver's screen, and a digital waste transfer note is generated automatically from the job details already captured, no paper pad, no separate admin step back at the office.
This cuts out a common source of errors: mismatched paper copies, illegible handwriting, or notes that never make it back to the office at all.
Works Without Signal
Rural collections and basements don't always have signal, so the app keeps working offline. Jobs, photos and signatures are stored on the device and sync automatically once a connection is available again, with nothing lost in between.
