Digital Waste Tracking for Construction Waste Made Easy

Digital waste tracking for construction waste doesn't have to mean more paperwork. Construction and demolition contractors move huge tonnages of soils, rubble and mixed waste, often between sites, crushers and landfill. We build a bespoke app around how your business works, so every job, weight and signature is captured once, digital waste transfer notes are sent automatically and your Defra records are submitted on time.

How Digital Waste Tracking for Construction Waste Works

Construction and demolition projects create large volumes of waste across many sites, phases and subcontractors. Soils, concrete, timber, metals, plasterboard, packaging and sometimes hazardous materials all need to be separated, moved and recorded.

Digital waste tracking for construction waste means every one of those movements, whether you carry it yourself or use a haulier, is recorded once in structured form. Our app links each movement to the site, the project phase, the waste stream and the receiving site, so you can prove where every load went.

Waste Movements from Every Site and Phase

Each site or project gets its own record, with its phases, waste streams and permitted destinations. Site managers or drivers log movements as they happen. The office sees totals by site, phase and waste type at any time, without waiting for paper tickets to come back from the tip.

Soils, Inerts and Mixed Loads Separated

Separation on site saves money and helps you hit recycling targets. The app records each stream separately, so you can show how much was segregated:

Soils and stones

inert or contaminated

Concrete, bricks and tiles

Timber, metals, plasterboard and packaging

Mixed construction and demolition waste

Hazardous wastes

such as asbestos, with consignment notes

Reports for Main Contractors and BREEAM

Main contractors and clients increasingly ask for waste data: tonnages, diversion from landfill and evidence of correct disposal. The app produces reports by site, project and period, ready for main contractors, sustainability reports and schemes such as BREEAM. Every figure links back to the load, the ticket and the receiving site.

When Construction and Demolition Contractors Must Comply

When construction and demolition contractors carry their own waste, they're planned to come into scope in Phase 2, with a public beta in spring 2027 and mandatory use planned from October 2027. If you operate a permitted site, such as a crusher or recycling yard that receives waste, Phase 1 already applies to the waste you receive.

Every receiving site you deliver to is already reporting what it receives, including you or your haulier as carrier.
